A good book for beginners.
This is a handy, easy to read source for beginners. The photos are great, but the descriptions on care is a bit scanty.

Terrific Book for the Cost
This is a terrific book for the money. I currently own five books devoted to bonsai, all ranging in price. For the money, this is an excellent book with great pictures.
