Unfortunately, I don;t know any sites BUT, i do know where you can get TRILLIONS of pictures and descriptions of plants. Follow this guide and hopefully, you get what you want.
1)Go to http://www.google.com
2)Type “www.nps.gov/plants/alien/factmain” and hit enter
3)TA-DA!
Or you can do this.
1)go to google.com
2)type pictures of plants and their descriptions
3) search away!
Good Luck!
hgtv.com has all the gardening shows. They have plans, layouts, plants for your area, care tips, etc.
Wayside Gardens (www.waysidegardens.com) has an excellent website with pictures and good descriptions of all kinds of plants. One tip, though: look here for ideas but buy elsewhere (they’re a bit overpriced and often will send skimpy plants).
Another good site is Monrovia’s. Although they don’t sell plants directly, they have a plant library where you can select among a number of different attributes you want for your plant (hardiness, shade-tolerance, good fall color, etc.) and find plants that meet your criteria. It’s extremely useful for ideas, and can be found here: http://www.monrovia.com/PlantInf.nsf/$$S...
