Landscaping Cost? How Do You Know If It Is Too Much?



I have an average front and back lawn on 1/4 acre. I need lawns and concrete poured. How do you know if your estimates are high or if it is a fare cost.

    Always get two or three estimates from certified professionals. Cost will be different in each part of the country.

    A general rule: Landscaping costs about as much as 10% of the worth of the house. But do get estimates. Make sure all your prospective contractors have licenses, insurance and a good track record. Check their references as well. A call to the BBB is also a good idea.
