Any Books You Can Recommend For Indoor Gardening?

I don’t live in an area where I can have a big beautiful garden outdoors. So, I wanted to try and grow some pretty flowers indoors.
I plan on getting some of the long, shallow tubs meant to store clothing under beds, and I will fill those with soil and put my flowers in there. Hopefully it will work.
Are there any books you can recommend for indoor gardening?
If not, can I at least get some helpful hints?

Can Anyone Recommend A Good Food For Tench In A Garden Pond?

Allthough i have never kept these fish here is a tidbit of info on them. They are bottom dwellers feeding mainly on small crustaceans, inverts, bloodworms, larvae and Zooplankton. Also they are a very hardy fish that can live in poorly oxygenated waters where as others can not live. I would suggest (if feeding this fish in captivity) to feed it a varied diet. Maybe some feeder shrimp, Bloodworms(or any type of worm would do), pellets that will sink to the bottom (they are bottom dwellers and pellets will work for food as they are nutritious and contain some extra vitamins make sure you get sinking pellets though), flake soaked in vitamins of some sort so they will sink to the bottom where this fish primarilly feeds.
Kidney beans are used to catch this fish when angling. It is a cheap trick to lure the fish in sort of like using yellow corn for mountain trout. Other than protein there would be NO other nutrient value of feeding this fish a kidney bean so try and stay away from feeding it beans of any kind as it is not a natural food source of this fish.
Hope this helps a bit.

Any Good Gardening Books You Could Recommend?

I bought my first house in Maine, and would like to make a few flower gardens around the house. Since I have no idea how or where to start, does anybody know of a good book (or two!) that would be helpful for a beginning gardener? I’ve looked online, but there are so many to choose from!

What Features/style Would You Recommend For Buying A Table And Chairs To Put In A Gazebo?

There are some things you should into consideration. Is the gazebo in a place where your furniture won’t get soaking wet? If it is then you can get just about any material you want (metal, wood, glasstopped, etc.) and use weatherproof material/cushions.
If it’s in a place where things will be getting wet on a frequent basis, I would suggest metal or wood in the style that suits your taste or surroundings. You can still use outdoor cushions, but you should put them in a sheltered spot (perhaps a bench that can double as storage?) if there is going to be bad weather.
Wicker, which is supposedly ok requires quite a bit of maintenance if it is used outside (ie: painting yearly or weatherproofing. Wicker is really an indoor sunporch material.
Good luck!
