Weird Recurring Dream About Dead Childhood Pet?

I left home about 10 years ago so I guess the guinea pig died about 15 or so years ago, yet on occasion I still dream she is alive.
The dream is that I realise I have forgotten about her for all of these years and when I get into the shed, she is still in her cage but barely alive.
I found her dead when I was young and my mum had just called me from work to tell me off for staying in bed when I should have put the guniea pig out in the garden earlier. It was very traumatic when I found her stiff in the cage . . .
Is the dream because I still all these years later, blame myself for her death?

I think your pet is trying to tell you that however i’ts death was traumatic to you, rest assured animals do go to heaven and you will be reunited one day.
It probally is just childhood trauma from having something bad happen. Especially if you were attached to that pet.
