Where Are Fruit Trees For Orchards Grown?

While driving along Interstate 5 in California, I saw several recently planted fruit tree orchards. This got me thinking…where are the trees grown in order to plant these orchards, and what do they look like? Are the trees planted very close together? Are these the same farms that supply fruit trees for Home Depot and other stores?

    most of these trees are grown here where i live and i also help into making the tree in tennessee the seeds are planted and when they get about a foot tall they are suckered then budded ,then cut off at the bud then stump suckered then stem suckered then in the fall they are removed from the fields are graded and shipped out to the poeple that order them it is the same way with apple,peach,pears,cherries also maple there is also a tree called a fruit coctail tree with 5 kinds of fruit on it all of this is done by me in a nursery .

    these people graft their own trees these people have their own nurserys. its a very independent farming untit they do everything in a very big way. they do supply home depot with trees.
