Why Don’t The Bottom Of Wooden Garden Sheds Rot?

I was watching a video of someone constructing a shed.
If a shed has a dirt floor, wooden floor, or a concrete floor- what stops the wood that meets the ground, or the wood that meets the concrete from rotting within a year? I know the wood is chemically treated- but that will only take it so far.

You said it, the wood is pressure treated. You are also correct, all wood, even treated, will deteriorate in time, but that time is greatly extended with treatment. When I build, I isolate the wood from direct ground contact when possible. That is usually done using concrete. Nothing is 100% over time.
the chemical what they put in it. it should last awhile unless u have several bad leaks in u’r shed or lots of flooding.
My dad use to put up sheds in r back yard & he would use cinder blocks then put the would over that… that would protect the flooring over time.
The key is keeping it dry and providing it with ventilation. The floor will not get wet unless water is running under the floor, and if it does get wet, the ventilation helps to dry it out.
